At the age of 4 Pamela began Classical Ballet and Gymnastics classes in England. When she was 5 she decided to follow her mother's footsteps and took up Disco dancing instead. Over the next 5 years she excelled at disco; performing in cabarets and competing in national competitions. Since then, Pamela has trained in Ballroom, Latin, Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet, Tap and Hip-hop.
In 2004, after passing her Associate Teacher's Jazz exam, Pamela moved to the Netherlands for 18 months and sought ballet and jazz classes under some of the best teachers in Europe, including teachers from the Dutch National Ballet, Paris Opera Ballet, and the Bolshoi Ballet as well as teachers from the Alvin Ailey School in New York.
On her return, she continued to focus on her ballet training under Linda McKay at Essentially Ballet and Adrian Fryer and Mary Renouf at City Dance Centre. She also joined Flare Dance Company as a dancer and choreographer and has performed with them in a number of shows.
In 2008, Pamela completed a Certificate IV in Dance Teaching at the Dance Factory under highly regarded teachers Dulcie Lee, Barbara Warren-Smith, Andrew Hallsworth and Yvette Lee.
Pamela teaches Classical Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Hip-Hop, and joined Dancentre in 2009.
