What To Wear

Wear your DANCENTRE uniform to:

• Make you look part of the Dancentre team
• Show your teacher you’re ready to dance
• Let your teacher evaluate your alignment and movements easily.

 

BALLET
Preschool, Combination, Beginner & Level 1 Classes: 

Pink Tights & Pink Ballet shoes 

Pink Leotard & Pink skirt

Level 2 & 3:
Pink Tights & Pink Ballet shoes 

Blue Leotard & Blue skirt (Level 2 only)

Level 4 & 5:
Pink Tights & Pink Ballet shoes 

Purple Leotard & No skirt

Level 6 upwards:
Pink Tights & Pink Ballet shoes 

Black Leotard

Jazz & Tap
Tan shimmer tights and same leotard as for Ballet levels.
Black Shorts & Black Tap or Jazz shoes

Winter

Only crossovers and tight-fitting black layers are permitted. No big shirts, jumpers or jackets!

Hair – Good grooming is part of dance training.

A neat bun for ballet
A neat ponytail or bun for jazz, tap, contemporary & hip-hop.
Fringes and wisps should be pinned or gelled back. 

Head-bands are recommended for short hair.

We are registered at Studio 7, so you just need to go in to the store, let them know you are from Dancentre & which level & style the student is in, & they will sort you out. Should be easy!
